Foot Dynamics is a unique shoe store focused on quality and hands-on fittings. We sell fashion-forward shoes to everyone, regardless of foot problems. However, we also go above and beyond for the “foot challenged” with our in-store Pedorthic Clinic and orthotics lab.

Foot Dynamic’s Pedorthic Clinic offers free foot assessments for people with various foot issues. We understand who might need orthotics, why, and how orthotics are supposed to fit and function properly in footwear.

Advanced Casting Technology

Foot Dynamics’s orthotic fabrication lab, Advanced Casting Technology, is in our Boise store. Since 1997, our lab has provided orthotic fabrication services for medical professionals and consumers worldwide. Our medical-grade orthotics are fabricated according to our pedothist’s prescription and detailed assessment of a person’s foot structure, gait, and existing foot-related problems.

We also fabricate new custom orthotics and refurbish older orthotics from our online orders for “everyday” or “sports-specific” orthotics, providing custom arch support for clients worldwide.

Matt, although last season was thin for snow I was still able to prove your liner and foot bed work in my backcountry boots by using them in the bumps for a couple days. If any terrain will break your feet those will and your boot work paid off. Can’t wait to get them back in ski climbing terrain.Thank you so much for sharing your expertise!

I left a one star review for Foot Dynamics, based on my disappointing customer service experience. The owner, Kevin, reached out to me immediately expressing deep concern. We exchanged several emails. They were open and honest dialogs. In the end Kevin showed me what true customer service looks like. My shoes were backordered for 2 months. Kevin and his staff communicated with their inside customer service rep and they pulled my shoes - something that never happens. Foot Dynamics made it happen. My shoes arrived in 3 days. This is what can happen when people communicate. I regret not reaching out to Kevin before my review. It taught me a lesson. Communicate before jumping to conclusions. I apologize.

I sent in my Birkenstock Boston clogs to be resoled with the walkbase rubber in an attempt to save them after wearing them religiously over the last 3 years. Turnaround time was only a few days and I had my clogs shipped and delivered back at my home in a week. Overall they turned out better than I expected and am happy with the results. I highly recommend Foot Dynamics for Birkenstock repairs.

My wife and I were on a walk about downtown Boise. We went in, and the guy was friendly and talkative and very helpful. I bought insoles for my boots 2/14/25. Update 10/21/25 I return today to get a second pair of insoles. The best money I ever spent for my work boots / feet. Yes, I will return when I need a third pair. Update 6/4/26 I return to get my third pair of insoles at their new location in Meridian Idaho. I also bought wife her first pair to try on / in her work boots.

I visited again about 3 weeks ago, picked up several pairs of my favorite shoes, as is the case, attentive, helpful, have what I wanted. What's not to like. 09/12/22 11/24. I ordered a replacement Birkenstock sandals and they were ordered in. I could not use them, Birkenstock did away with their soft so,e pads and too painful for me. Not Foot Dynamics fault, I thought I could wear them, could not. Foot Dynamics is a super p.ace and the staff are most helpful. 05/26/26: I went to their are store 04/08/26 and had help in finding 3 pairs of Altas and one work boot. They have a bigger place and same caring employees.
